Re: Consolidation Slow

I created a file library. At first, I created one with only one writer. I ran a full backup and since I set it to use concurrency, it ran nice and fast. I then ran an incremental and tried to do a consolidation. The consolidation ran just like the StoreOnce consolidation (i.e. slow) with it only working on one object at a time.

I then added an additional four writers to the device and re-ran the consolidation. It now did five objects at a time and was reasonably fast. I can see that I can just add more writers to get more objects to be done simultaneously during the consolidation. So the file library works great.

So my question is on the StoreOnce device, is there something akin to a writer that I could add more of them so it would do multiple objects simultaneously during a consolidation?
