Hi lectrouser - The 4210 was replaced by the HP StoreOnce 4220. Here's a link to the 4220 QuickSpec. Here's a link with many HP StoreOnce 4210 and 4220 manuals.
If you really do mean the 4210, you must be buying a used device - here is the Data Protector 6.2 Device Support Matrix. Page 30 lists the D2D 4000 series (FC and iSCSI versions) and has info about what OSes DP 6.2 supports with the 4210. Here's a link where you can find other DP 6.2 documentation.
You are talking about rather old products - the latest version of Data Protector is 8.0.
