Then it will be hard to backup the data. The data itself are backups of VMs (done with a different backup software) which we want to backup to tape and keep a little longer than the backup disk repository.
Unfortunaltly the file structure right now is very simple, all VMs are backed up to D:\backup\VMname. AFAIK DP does not allow to do parellel backups with multiple writers of the same windows drive....
