Hi, I hope this is the right subject to follow.
I have a program calling an archive process to get things "archived" in the programs database.
I added a Windows Computer with a filesystem Datalist in DPManager . Its called SAVING and it saves D:\Archive to a disk device.
now i try to save the newest file from the primary program. I want to archive this with omnib.exe
I found in DPManager the option right click on the datalist and <select the location for the shortcut>.
Cool it produced me a batch to start the following script.
"C:\Program Files\OmniBack\bin\omnib" -datalist "SAVING" -server hoppel1.down.under
And it worked !
This was my base to close in on my wish. I found several postings about the <-select> option.
I try to save the file D:\Archive\12345.zip
So i tried several options
"C:\Program Files\OmniBack\bin\omnib" -datalist "SAVING" -select QUACK -server hoppel1.down.under
where QUACK was something like < hoppel1.down.under:/D "D:" > <hoppel1.down.under:/D/Archive "D:\Archive"> ....
Anyone has a functional description for me please. the CLI reference and nearly every posting start with something like unix or linux. THX a lot in advance.
