Due to a sysadmin error, the old 6.0 server had DP 6.0 removed (swremove) which also wipes out the original 6.0 IDB. So we're stuck with an IA64 system running 11.31 and DP 6.2 but an IDB that reports 6.0.
During the upgrade process (following the book) I ran omnimigrate to convert the database from 6.0 to 6.2. The first conversion ended with an error that said the IDB could not be converted. I then reran omnimigrate.pl with -configure_idb and it said it worked OK. I thought this meant that the IDB was indeed converted.
Can I run omnimigrate -configure_idb again?
Or should I install 6.2 onto the current server again (after saving the /etc/opt/omni and /var/opt/omni directories)?
