PLease try editing the file on the Media Agent
UNIX:
/opt/omni/.omnirc
Windows
Program Data -> Omniback -> omnirc
This file does not exist by default. If you don't have thisfile, it can be created
UNIX
touch /opt/omni/.omnirc
Widows
OPen a blank notepad
Add these lines to the file
OB2NOSEEK=1
OB2NDMPNOOFFSET=0
Save the file
UNIX:
/opt/omni/.omnirc
Windows
Program Data -> Omniback -> omnirc
Make sure that the filename does not have any extensions, like 'txt' or 'TMPL'. On Windows, you must stop and restart the DP INET service
Warning: During a Normal restore, the IDB is read for the position of the file, and tape can be fast-forwarded. The
OB2NOSEEK=1
environment variable does away with that, and each file is examined, so the REstore is going to be dreadfully slow. Once you have restore what you need, either delete of comment out this line, save teh file, and, on Windows, stop and restart the DP INET service
