Hi Jan
Yes I'm sure we did and still do Fullbackup during night and Incr during the day.
I checked the event logs and can find the dollowing entries:
Event 2021 Exchange VSS Writer:
The Microsoft Exchange VSS Writer has successfully collected the metadata document in preparation for backup.
Event 2046 Exchange VSS Writer:
The Microsoft Exchange Replication service VSS Writer instance 673b11ea-f503-4649-ad36-1a4ef95706b9 has successfully completed the backup of database 'Database Name 2GB'.
Database log truncation has been requested for this database. Log truncation will occur on the active copy after the next log generation is created. Log truncation will occur automatically on the passive copies after that log file is copied.
The Event 2046 we've got for all 3 database.
Event 2006 ESE:
Information Store - Mailbox Database Name 2GB (17348) Shadow copy instance 1 completed successfully.
The Event 2006 we've got for all 3 database.
Event 2033 Exchange VSS Writer
The Microsoft Exchange Replication service VSS Writer (Instance 673b11ea-f503-4649-ad36-1a4ef95706b9) has successfully processed the backup completion event.
So it looks like the DP backup job has sent the API call to VSS writer to truncate the log files, but it doesn't.
When I check in ECP - Database the "Last full backup", "Last incremental backup" the date is not corresponding with the Event logs from the Exchange 2010+ Integration job. It shows exactly the date and time we did the last "MS Volume Shadow Copy Writer" Backup job with DP.
Any suggestions?
