I have a fully patched Data Protector 8.1 Cell Manager on Red Hat Linux, and a Suse Linux 11 R3 target.
It has a standard, small root partition and a large nssvol with many small files as it is a mailserver.
It worked poorly if at all until the patching. Now it completes, but the incrementals are very slow.
Is there any way to speed up the incrementals? It seems to use more cycles than it really should, considering.
I have seen some tuning ideas, but they are from the distant days of Data Protector 6.0.
