We have just upgraded from 6.11 through version 7.0 to version 8.0.
In version 6.11 we reguarly copied backupjobs from a VLS6227 to a MSL4048 tape unit.
This worked OK, but when trying the same in version 8.0 this do not work, the jobs fails with message saying: session aborted!. This happens both by running the scheduled job and when it is run by the schedule. The strange part of this is that the job just shows up in the session list as running. So far I have only be able to kill these sessions by stopping DP on our Linux server and restarting it again. It is not possible to stop them from the DP GUI.
When doing the same copy of the jobs Interactively, it works fine. It seems to me that the scheduled copy job fails. Any way to debug what is wrong?
The last question is if there are any patches available for DP 8.0, so far I have not been able to find any.
