On the server 's-mg02 Primary-Site', edit the 'omnirc' file to add the line
VI_API_TIMEOUT=300
Save the file. If this server is Windows, stop and restart the Data Protector INET service
Basically, when DP triggers a VDDK call to flush the memory of a VM, there is a timeout attached to that call, which is too small for large memory sizes.
On DP 7, 300 was the default, somehow, on DP 8, this was changed to a default value of 60.
The lab is aware of this issue, and it is going to be fixed in a future General Release patch
