this is valid point. I've checked SSO portal and there you can find the e-mail notifications (including patches) for Data Protector. Not sure if this is still working, because I have not received anything (via mail) since years. I've asked HPE to look into it. Use "All Versions" until they have added the current releases.
I can tell you HPE is working quite hard to make sure future patch releases are more stable, but regain trust is a hard task.
