Re: IDB backup failed - Cannot read DBSM message

Software support for Data Protector A.08.00 is no longer available and this looks like a release-specific issue that needs fix. This issue was not fixed on this release so there is no hot fix available. You should consider a upgrade to A.09.07_110.

The DBSM ends abnormally during the IDB backup session
