Hi,
I have a Production System with Oracle Database running on HP-Ux 11i platform and would have DR with Oracle Databse running on Solaris 11. Curently I use Data Protector 6 at the Production to backup database and files into LTO 5.
If I used Data Protector at DR mostl likely latest version, can it read and restore the backup data on LTO5 from Production?
Another option, If I used different Backup Software at DR for example Symantec NetBackup or EMC Networker, can it read and restore the backup data on LTO5 from Production?
Hope somebody out there have the answer.
