Make sure that you are up to date on your patches, this problem has been reolved several times in past versions.  If you are patched up to date, you will need to open a case

It's DP 9.02 so latest Patch.Media imported are from 7.03 and were imported via multiple Drives.Could that be a cause?

I would need to know what version of Data Protector you are running, as well as the OS-type of your cell manager to be specific, but you will generally get teh error "another dbcheck is in progress"...

there is no command for that, best is to wait for the check to be done.you can kill the Process and delete /var/opt/omni/tmp/dbcheck.lk (linux) manually, potential IDB-Corruption included

incremental job runs as full

I have this backup job that last ran as incremental on 12/23/14.  On 1/6/15, it ran as a full. Can't figure it out.

Hi Bob Have seen a lot of thing that do create errors/trouble in DP9 that didn't in 5-7 ;-) Medias were imported in Bulk-Operation, 50 or more a time in parallel Batches. Possible the new IDB didn't...

No, we have two Ultrium 5-SCSI  (1x8 G2 AUTOLDR) devices with one drive each. So two physical devices / boxes, each with one drive each. Sorry about the confusion.

Make sure no other Backup is running on your ExchangeCheck for hanging Bar-Agents on the Clients involvedrun omnidbutil -free_cell_resources to clear locks and references in IDB
