If you updated DataProtector make sure to restart the DP Inet and check if Oracle has linked the latest Backup-Libraries, relink if in doubt.

How to set Schedule calendar view from one month to 12 months
Hi,
I have CM DP9.02, Windows 2008.
I have one month view of schedule.Right-click on a month name and select Fonts or Dimensions does not work or I do not know how it works to see 12 months schedule plan.How to set 12 months?

My issue was related to certain ports not being open between the DP GUI and the server. In my case the client GUI and server were in different subnets with a firewall in between.
I needed to open the following ports between the client GUI and the server
TCP 5555, 7116, 2002, 2003

Your display resolution should be big enough to display whole year in schedule view.
On my server, resolution is 1098x928, and I can see whole calendar by following these steps:
1. Right click on calendar header, and select Dimensions
2. As Units, select Pixel
3. Put Min width and Min height to 135 pix.
4. Set Calendar title percentage to 15. Click OK
5. Maximize window.
When you are resizing DP window, calendar view should change, and only when calendar view is big enough, whole year will be displayed.

we have a oracle RAC, the size of the db is about 2.5TB.
After backuped around 6 or 7 hours, we found the "DP managed control file backup " is finished successfully, followed an error:
[61:3003] Lost connection to BMA xxx on host xxx
Ipc subsystem reports: "IPC Read Error System error: [10054] Connection reset by peer.
The amount size of the backup data is about 2.5TB, nearly equal to the size of the database.
There is no firewall between the cm and the client. the firewall on the cm and the IPsec on the client is disabled.
The CM is a windows 2003.
The client is both the DA and MA, it'a a rhel 5.8 system.

in that case just configure library and drive manually with the same settings as the auto-config, except change the DeviceType to LTO.

I've already tried but, even ifthe configuration is correct,it does not work.
When I mount a tape on a manually configured library (have tried a scan), DP notices that drive address was changed, but is unable to open this drive (I don't remember the exact error message).

Do you have the lastest Patches for DP 7 installed?
Version 7.03.107 (April 2015) contains several Bugs, including one messing up the Serial Numbers of Libraries and Drives.
Setting omnirc-Variable OB2CHANGERELEMENTPARSER=0 on the Robot-Control Host reverts back to the old working behavor.

No, I, and the customer, haven't DP patches. AFAIK, now patch download is not free, but you must have a valid support contract.
My customer doesn't have an active contract.
If you know how download patches for free, please tell me.

Configure Advanced Drive Settings VIA CLI
Hello Community Members!
I was hoping to avoid alot of pointing... loading .. and clicking. I have been tasked with changing the location of the script that loads when a mount request occurs. This is in drive settings > Advanced > Other > Script.
We have hundreds of drives, so any way of scripting for verification and configuration will be saving me hours of work. I've looked all over the CLI guide and searched the help, but couldn't find anything that would set this value... or even just list the properties of all my drives. I was able to see attached drives via the sanconf command, but really not useful.

How change SCSI Address of Data Drive on DP6.11?
After a change in our Data Center , I have a problem in my Data Protector.
My drives of different librarys backup are using the same SCSI ADDRESS, how I can change these addresses ?
In the present scenario my drives are in conflict.
