We have an HP Proliant ML370 G5 running Windows Server 2008 Standard. It shipped with Data Protector Express, Single Server Edition, v. 4.0. We have purchased licensing for Data Protector Starter Pack Windows E-LTU, v. 7.00.
Is it necessary for uninstall DP Express before installing the full version, or will it install as an upgrade?
Will our old backup tapes be readable with the new product?
