I checked DP lab cases, and did not and this error anywhere. I suspect that this is going to be a VMware problem
I think that I would check the Applications Event log of the Virtual Machine that is giving you the error to see if any messages are generated
I would also check VMware log files. I don't know where these might be, but hopefully, the article may help
